Likes/Dislikes:
I enjoyed reading each book in this series. The characters are strong and independent; each book has a unique storyline; and the descriptions are full of vivid imagery. What I like the most is the focus of the books, as they are written with the woman’s ultimate pleasure in mind.
This is my first time coming across this author and am very pleased that she stayed true to the genre. Her stories are unique and can stand alone, not like the many ’50 Shades of Grey’ wanna-be novels out there that do not vary from the same storyline. Her leading ladies are strong and self-confident. They know what they want and are not ashamed to pursue it. Her leading men are passionate and considerate of the sexual power they possess, and are more than willing to gratify.
The Verdict:
I enjoyed everything about these books: the storyline, the characters, the book length, and the author’s writing efforts. I give this series a ‘five out of five’ stars as they do not disappoint!

Switching It On A Love Story, is book three in the Stimulated series by Lexxie Couper. While the first two books in this series featured a Menage, this book is about a regular two partner relationship. Is it any less hot? No my friends, it is not!
The story takes place in Sydney, Australia. Michael Bailey is a sports newscaster. Although Mike considers it somewhat of a joke, he is considered one of the sexiest men on TV. All Mike cared about was his beautiful wife, Lena. That is until his wife left him.
Mike and Lena had pretty much fallen in love at first sight. They had the perfect marriage. Lena had been hurt in a previous relationship but she supposedly trusted Mike. That is until their dog walker presented Lena with photos suggesting they were having an affair. Lena didn’t even give Mike the chance to defend himself. In her mind, the evidence was irrefutable. She threw him out and filed for divorce.
Now, seven months later, Mike still hasn’t signed the papers. And his station has hired a new Executive Producer, specifically his wife. This is the first time they’ve seen each other since the split. The first board meeting and electricity is sizzling. Lena keeps telling herself that she hates him, that he hurt her. But her body is telling her something else.
Can Mike find a way to get Lena to listen to him, to prove that he would never hurt her that way? I loved this one! These two together were off the charts sizzling. And Mike’s sister as a secondary character was fantastic. I loved her. This is the last of the series as far as I know but there seems to be a story there. In the short span of this book Lexxie was able to make me fall in love with the characters and not only was there plenty of hot sexy times, there was a good plot as well with a few surprises included and a perfect epilogue.
I suspect that Lexxie Couper is one of those authors that you just can’t go wrong with. I have enjoyed everything of hers that I have read so far. I have loved all three books of this series and highly recommend all three of them.
This was a good read. I love stories about second chances. All of the characters, even the secondary characters, were amazing!
Lexxie Couper has written another sexy story featuring an estranged couple who can still burn each other up even after seven months apart. I adored the hero, Mike who I have to give kudos to for being so forgiving and he is actually the reason why I enjoyed this story. You could tell how much he still loved her despite her mistrust and continued belief of his wrong-doing during their marriage despite his claims of innocence. I'll admit I was not too fond of Lena who came across as unforgiving and a bit cold-hearted. I understand that she'd been wronged before by her ex-boyfriend but she so easily cast her doubts of Mike even though they had been blissfully happy. I finally warmed up to Lena when she reached out to Mike and he showed her how great they were together. This author can write some of the hottest sex scenes around and turn me to mush. It was nice to finally see them actually talking and figuring what happened and things started to fall in place. It was nice to see Lena taking accountability for her rushed judgement and what it did to their marriage. What started out as a marriage on the rocks ended up being a second chance at happiness.
